Is my document at Urgent Vertalen always translated by a translator who has been sworn in before the Dutch Court?
If you need a translation of your document for the IND, we will always have the document translated by a sworn translator who has been sworn in before the Dutch Court. If you have a sworn translation that is provided abroad by a translator who has not been sworn in before the Dutch Court, this sworn translation will first have to be legalized. I need a sworn translation for the IND. How does that work?
To start working on a sworn translation, we initially need an easily readable and unedited photo or scan of your original document(s). We always send you a nonbinding quote first. If you agree with the quote, our sworn translator will be able to start working on your official translation based on the photo or scan that you sent us. When your sworn translation is ready, we will send you the scans of the sworn translation per email and a hard copy per direct mail.
From which languages can I have my documents translated for the IND?
The IND only accepts documents drawn up in Dutch, English, German and French. For example, if your document is drawn up in Turkish, Polish, Arabic, Hungarian, Chinese or Portuguese, the document will need to be sworn translated by a sworn translator. Fortunately, at Urgent Vertalen you can have your document(s) sworn translated into and from all official languages . It is often cheaper to opt for a sworn translation into Dutch instead of a sworn translation into English, German or French. We are happy to explain to you what advantages this entails.
