Why choose Urgent Vertalen for your legalizations?

A translation from Dutch into Bosnian is always performed by a translator who is a Bosnian native speaker. Moreover all our translators are translation graduates at bachelor level or higher.

Every text is unique, so we look at the type of text involved in each translation assignment. We believe it is only right that a native speaker translator who possesses sufficient experience of your professional terminology should perform your translation. So a technical Dutch to Bosnian translator will never be given a legal document to translate. This is one reason why you can depend on us to deliver a good translation between Bosnian and Dutch.

As a translation bureau we translate brochures, CVs, correspondence and handbooks on a daily basis. These translations are always performed carefully by one of our native speaker translators. We don't just specialise in Dutch to Bosnian translation. Our translation bureau also frequently handles other language combinations such as Spanish to Bosnian or English to Bosnian .

Many of our new and existing clients, such as government bodies, international businesses and private individuals need an urgent translation of for example a diploma, deed, passport or job application into or from Bosnian. As a Bosnian language translation bureau we offer you and our existing clients our fixed competitive tariffs, with no additional so called "urgency surcharge”.

If you are not satisfied with your translation then we will simply refund your money to you!

About the Bosnian language

The development of Bosnian

After the Balkan war the three ethnic groups making up the former Yugoslavia decided to emphasise their own identity. Before Yugoslavia split up Serbo-Croatian was spoken here. Bosnian has borrowed many words from Turkish. An example is the word Friday. In Serbian and Croatian this is “petak”, but in Bosnian it is “Džuma”(from the Turkish Cuma).

Modern Bosnian

Modern Bosnian uses an extended version of the Latin alphabet. This was not always the case, because earlier other alphabets were also used for writing. From the tenth century an adapted version of the Cyrillic alphabet was used, and from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century an adapted version of the Arabic alphabet was used.

Bosnian is spoken in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia. And it is the official language of Bosnia-Herzegovina. It is worth noting that the country has 3 official languages: Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian. The differences between the 3 languages are not much greater than those between Dutch and Flemish.

Bosnian is an inflectional language; this means that many cases are used in the grammar. The language distinguishes 3 genders: masculine, feminine and neuter, and also singular and plural.
