Korean translation bureau Urgent Vertalen

Have your document translated quickly and economically

Korean is the official language of South and North Korea. There are approximately 78 million people who speak Korean, including large groups in the USA, Canada and Japan. The exact classification of Korean is the subject of debate. Many regard it as an isolate (a language that is not related to any other language), but there are also people who regard it as a member of the Altaic family of languages.

Are you looking for a Korean language translation bureau in order to have your official documents and texts translated at a highly competitive price and in perfect quality? Then with Urgent Vertalen you have come to the right address.

A sworn Korean translator is ready and waiting to be of assistance to you

Do you need a sworn translation of your official documents? Then with The Hague's leading Korean language translation bureau you are at the right address.

We are an accredited Korean translation bureau. Sending us a scan of your documents is sufficient for us to perform your sworn Korean translation. We can either perform a sworn Korean translation of your Dutch document or translate your Dutch document into Korean.

A sworn translation in 3 steps

  • You send us a scan of your documents via email

Just sending a scan or photo of your documents is sufficient. We will then send you a quotation for the sworn translation of your documents.

  • The translation is performed for you without delay

The translation bears the seal, signature and declaration of the sworn translator; a copy of your documents is then attached to the translation. Your translation is performed in accordance with the guidelines for sworn translation.

  • Translation delivered to you before 10.00 the following work day

Free delivery by regular mail + a digital copy via email. If you wish to be certain that your translation will arrive the following work day, opt for express delivery at a slightly higher price.

It can happen that your sworn German translation will also need to be legalised for the country where you wish to use it. We have set out what is needed for a legalization on a country by country basis.

Urgent Vertalen’s legalization service

Translation bureau Urgent Vertalen offers the service of having your sworn translation legalised. Native-speaker translators

A translation from Dutch into Korean is always performed by a translator who is a Korean native speaker. Moreover all our translators are translation graduates at bachelor level or higher.

A Korean translator for every type of professional terminology

Every text is unique, so we look at the type of text involved in each translation assignment. We believe it is only right that a native speaker translator who possesses sufficient experience of your professional terminology should perform your translation. So a technical Dutch to Korean translator will never be given a legal document to translate. This is one reason why you can depend on us to deliver a good translation between Korean and Dutch.

Specialised

As a translation bureau we translate brochures, CVs, correspondence and handbooks on a daily basis. These translations are always performed carefully by one of our native speaker translators. We don't just specialise in Dutch to Korean translation. Our translation bureau also frequently handles other language combinations such as Spanish to Korean or English to Korean.

An urgent translation, with no urgency surcharge

Many of our new and existing clients, such as government bodies, international businesses and private individuals need an urgent translation of for example a diploma, deed, passport or job application into or from Korean. As a Korean language translation bureau we offer you and our existing clients our fixed competitive tariffs, with no additional so called "urgency surcharge”.

100% satisfaction guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your translation then we will simply refund your money to you!

About Korean and North and South Korea

Korean is a unique language. There are grammatical similarities with Japanese and in terms of vocabulary there are distant similarities with various Chinese languages.

Korean script

Hangul is used to write Korean; this is a phonetic script. The script comprises 14 consonants and 10 vowels which are grouped in syllables by a sort of square. It came into existence around 1444 under the leadership of the Korean king Sejong the Great. In 1446 Hangul was published for the first time in the Hunmin Jeongeum.

Korean numbers

The way in which numbers are dealt with in Korean typifies the language. Two numerical systems are used: Korean numbers and Sino Korean numbers. The Korean numbers are used to indicate a number of objects, but also for hours and for ages. Sino Korean numbering is used to state minutes, dates and amounts. So if you want to say what time it is you have to use both systems.

Some facts about North and South Korea

  • On every 9th of October since 2006 ‘Hangul-day’ has been celebrated in South Korea. Since that year it has been a day of national celebration in South Korea. ‘Hangul-day’ is the day of the Korean alphabet.
  • In North Korea they base their dates on the birthday of their ‘eternal leader’ Kim Il-Sung. This means that the year 2018 is 107 in North Korea.
  • The public transport in South Korea is excellent; the average delay per year of the Metro is just a few seconds.
  • It is illegal to wear jeans in North Korea.
  • North Koreans are permitted to choose from 28 different styles at the hairdresser’s.
