Of the translation assignments we carry out, more than 90% of these translations are sworn translations. Thanks to the use of experienced, skilled and proven native-speaker translators, we are able to provide our customers with a first-class translation service.     ISO 9001 Quality Assurance

    By means of the quality management system, we ensure that we can meet the needs and wishes of our customers and other stakeholders. We do this by means of the following core elements:

    • Compliance with laws and regulations: Because we generally provide sworn translations and collaborate often with public agencies, it is essential that Urgent Vertalen guarantees and ensures compliance with applicable legislation and regulations. For this reason, laws and regulations applicable to our products and services are always given due consideration.
    • Performance of processes: As a result of being a translation agency with committed employees, we employ direct communication and are able to effectively monitor performance and processes.
    • Objectives and opportunities for improvement: The performance of processes is translated into objectives. The main objective of Urgent Vertalen is to deliver the best quality by way of a modern vision of the translation industry, and to develop in line with market supply and demand. We are constantly developing. One of our strengths is that we quickly identify risks, allowing us to subsequently immediately take action.

    ISO 17100 Translation services standard

    ISO 17100 is the international standard for the quality management system for the provision of translation services. This ISO standard is crucial due to translation services being the main process of Urgent Vertalen. This standard demonstrates that the translation process is carried out in a controlled manner, and that the quality of the service is guaranteed. This means that the steps of various processes have been fully identified, including the processes concerning translation, in which check/review has been taken into account. In addition, the right resources and the required competence of employees and freelancers have been determined. This guarantees the quality of the translations. Due to the High Level Structure (HLS) of the management system, the ISO 17100 is integrated with ISO 9001:2015 and is maintained together with ISO 17100 and is continually evolving.

    ISO 27001 Information security

    Urgent Vertalen represents trust, integrity and compliance with laws and regulations. As we have a lot of confidential information at our disposal through our services, such as personal data, company data and confidential files, it is of utmost importance to handle this data with care. We take privacy and security very seriously. For this reason, the decision was taken to professionally implement this concept by means of ISO 27001 information security. In this way, we want to prove to customers, stakeholders and other interested parties that their information and data are in good hands with Urgent Vertalen. To ensure that the information security processes are integrated with other processes and business operations, the choice was made to integrate ISO 27001 into the management system for ISO 9001 and ISO 17100. Targets have been set to ensure that we continuously strive to improve our processes. In this way, the reliability, integrity and data confidentiality within Urgent Vertalen is controlled and the processes within the organisation are continuously improved.
