Sworn translation of a will
Has a will been drawn up by a deceased person and did the deceased reside abroad? If that is the case, the will has to be sworn translated. Are you unsure whether the deceased has drawn up a will? This can be checked in the Central Register of Wills. You can check with the Central Register of Wills whether a will has been drawn up, if so, at which civil-law notary it was executed, and on what date the will was drawn up However, no substantive information from the will is ever shown To request the contents, you can contact the civil-law notary or the notary office where the will was drawn up. Once you have obtained the will, the next step is the translation of the will. A will must be translated by a sworn translator.

The will and the certificate of succession
If the deceased has not drawn up a will, the law determines who the heirs are. Are you interested in how this is legally established?
