How quickly can my negative PCR test be translated?
The translation of a negative PCR test can be arranged in a very short time. The scans of a sworn translation of a standard Dutch PCR test can often be provided to you in a matter of hours. The question remains, however, if the scans are sufficient or if you are required to provide the original document if you are requested to do so on or after your trip. We recommend bringing the original document along on your journey in order to prevent any trouble. To which language can I have my negative corona test translated?
An official (sworn) translation of a negative corona test can be provided into any officially recognised language. Whether you require a translation in Mandarin, Slovakian, Indonesian, Japanese or Arabic, you can come to us for any language. Note: always consult the local government of your destination country before departure about whether the standard Dutch or English non-covid-19 declaration and certificate given by the local (expedited) testing services are deemed sufficient.
How does the sworn translation of a COVID test work?
Step 1: Providing information and the negative corona test Send an e-mail with your name and telephone number, the required language for the translation of the corona test and the country of destination and attach a legible and unedited scan or photograph of the corona test and any supplementary information to: info@urgentvertalen.nl. Please note! in addition to an official translation, extra steps are often necessary for the use of your translation abroad! Step 2: You receive a non-binding offer. Step 3: When you agree to the offer, you provide us with your full address data so we can send you the invoice. Step 4: After receipt of payment, we immediately start the translation procedure. Step 5: The translation is finished; you receive the scans of the sworn translation via e-mail and you can pick up the original translation at our offices or we can send you the translation via courier or regular post. Which other steps have to be taken after the sworn translation of a PCR-test?
A sworn translation often needs to be legalised. This is because your country of destination must be able to see that the sworn translation is actually made by a sworn translator registered at the District Court of The Hague. For this reason, the document needs to be legalised. Depending on your country of destination and the type of document, a sworn translation will be furnished with a special seal and/or stamp, allowing you to use the document abroad, outside of the Netherlands. What is a sworn translation?
A sworn translation is a completely truthful translation. A sworn translator has attended and succesfully completed a training course spanning multiple years. After that, the translator has taken the oath at Dutch Court, declaring that each document carrying his/her stamp is translated truthfully and that the translator is familiar with the written content of the document. The translator is then entered in the database of the Court. The translator, after translating a document, always attaches his or her name, signature and stamp bearing his or her unique registration number. The translated document is then an official document within the Netherlands.
